IT'S OUR 30th BIRTHDAY!
The 30/50 Affair : Celebrating 80 Years of Arts in Anchorage
Alaska Dance Theatre's joint celebration with the Anchorage Opera
will be held on Saturday, February 25th, 2012 at The Bridge
Restaurant. We hope you'll join us to celebrate 30 years of dance
and 50 years of opera in Alaska. Remaining tickets are just $50 per person and you
can RSVP today by calling 277-9591. Please come party with the casts
of ADT's Othello & AO's Macbeth and enjoy decadent
hors d'oeuvres, and a truly live art auction with live
entertainment. It's the celebration of the year you don't want to
miss! Tickets very limited (due to limited space) and we expect
they'll sell out fast. Reserve early to avoid disappointment.
CHOREOGRAPHER'S SHOWCASE 2012: EMERGING CHOREOGRAPHERS
Choreographer's Showcase is a celebration of choreographers from our community and beyond. This year's Showcase features choreography from Walter Barrillas & Stephanie Wonchala, Becky Kendall, Melissa Jabaay, Wendy Langton, Jessie Embley, Gabe Harvey, Irenerose Antonio Castillo and Stephen Grantier. ADT is also proud to feature artists from Alaska Dance Theatre Company, including Mina Lawton and Thomas Phelan and the premiere of its Movement Corp with choreography from Resident Choreographer Gillmer Duran.
