Alaska Dance Theatre Facility has 5 dance studios, a parent waiting area, a dancer lounge and an upstairs comprised of a faculty lounge and administrative offices.

The five studios are:

• Moose’s Tooth—  26’ X 38’
• RIM Design— 37’X 33’
• JL Properties— 44’ X 46’
• GCI— 24’ X 44’
• Davis Constructors— 45’ X 44’

The Alice Bassler Sullivan Theatre is a black box theatre made when the wall between GCI and JL Properties is removed. GCI is the seating area; JL Properties is the stage.

All studios have a stereo system that is compatible with personal M3P/ipod players. The speaker system is such that no place in the studio is dead; speakers are hung every 5’ for an even coverage. Moose’s Tooth, RIM Design, JL Properties and Davis Constructors have pianos.

There are men’s and women’s restrooms with showers and lockers.

Rental rates depend upon the activity and status of the organization requesting the rental. All organizations requesting a rental quote must fill out the facility rental form. (this needs a link) in order to determine space and time availability. Inquiries must have this form filled out prior to any discussions with the staff.

Discounts are given to nonprofit organizations and groups that request multiple dates. All rentals include the heat, lights, flooring, barres, mirrors, access to restrooms, free parking and front office staff. Rental times must include 15 minutes on both ends for opening and closing functions. Any group renting space must be insured and list Alaska Dance Theatre as an additional insured.
