Meet Richard
Since moving to Alaska in 1975, Richard has
been very active as both a pianist and a teacher.
We are proud to say he has been an accompanist with
Alaska Dance Theater since 1993.
Richard also works as an accompanist for the Fairbanks Summer Arts
Festival where he has been on staff since 2000.
As a freelance accompanist in the Anchorage area, Richard is
often asked to play for singers and instrumentalists because he is a
versatile pianist of many different styles of music. Many special
events have been enhanced by Richard's talent and ADT staff are
pleased that he continues to share his love of music with us, our
students and our audiences. Richard holds a music degree from Kansas
State University with further studies in piano attained through the
University of Alaska Anchorage.
