Thanks to support from our Scholarship sponsors Alaska Dance Theatre awards financial need and merit based scholarships each semester to deserving students. And starting in 2011, ADT announced the beginning of the Darl Schaff Performance Fund (DSPF), a new scholarship program to award funds to support performance opportunities to young students. The first awards of the (DSPF) will be made and announced in Fall of 2012. Through an extensive application process each dancer is evaluated on need, merit and potential. Scholarships are awarded 2-3 times per year. Recipients and their families are also asked to contribute time outside of their dance studies to contribute to the organization and support its programs. |
