Dear Alaska Dance Theatre Families,
Thank you for your support of our school and your continued cooperation as we navigate this ever-changing landscape of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The safety of our students remains our top priority.
In light of the recent increases in the number of COVID-19 cases and the spread of the new extremely contagious Delta variant, ADT is again requiring masks for all staff and students including those vaccinated and unvaccinated while inside the facility starting Monday, July 19. Additional information on ADT's Covid-19 policies and procedures is provided below.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update this policy as needed. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Front Desk team - firstname.lastname@example.org or (907) 277-9591. ADT appreciates and carefully reviews all the feedback that we receive from our families and students.
Again, thank you for your continued cooperation and helping to keeping our students, staff and parents safe.
At Alaska Dance Theatre, we serve students of all ages, from the youngest dancer at age 3 up to our adult students, and ADT is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone inside the building. ADT will require masks for all staff and students while inside the facility. We are continuing to monitor the case counts and vaccination rates in the city, and will continue to reassess on a weekly basis.
Check In Procedures
Based on current recommendations by the CDC, ADT will no longer be requiring students to sign in for classes. We ask that all students coming to class please continue to follow standard health precautions, including staying home when sick or with a fever.
Quarantine Procedures for Vaccinated and Unvaccinated Students and Staff
Students and Staff members who are fully vaccinated do not need to quarantine after exposure to individuals with COVID-19. Additionally, vaccinated students and staff do not need to quarantine after traveling both inside or out of Alaska.
Unvaccinated students and individuals will be required to quarantine for 10 days after exposure to COVID-19, and may return to dance on day 11 if experiencing no symptoms. Unvaccinated students and individuals will be asked to follow all recommendations for travel, including testing and quarantine when needed. For more information on quarantine and travel guidance, please review this link: https://covid19.alaska.gov/travelers/
Social Distancing Requirements
For ADT's classes, we will continue to help our dancers maintain distance in the classrooms. Class cap sizes have been increased to allow for more student participation.
Our front desk staff are available for registration, questions, and anything else to help our dancers and families. We will continue to ask that non dancers limit their time in the building to registration and front desk inquiries only.
