Alaska Dance Theatre is pleased to welcome Cory Betts - Dancer, Actor, Singer, Teacher, Choreographer! - back for a Special Workshop Weekend!


This amazing opportunity is open to the entire Alaska Dance Community! If you are a local instructor or a dancer with 2+ years of experience, we surely hope you will join us at our school for this workshop. The cost is just $10. Born & raised in Sacramento, California. Cory began dancing at the age of 5. Training at multiple studios and predominantly receiving training from The Sacramento Ballet & Northern California Dance Conservatory.


Cory has competed at NYCDA nationals in New York City & won first place at YAGP regionals in San Francisco. He has worked with Alaska Dance Theatre, Utah Festival Opera, Pacific Conservatory Theater, performed at the prestigious Jacobs Pillow Summer Festival, as well as touring throughout Austria, Italy, & Germany with Young Tanzsommer.

Cory joined the Eugene Ballet Company in 2013, and was featured in productions including Amy Seiwert’s “White Noise”, Val Caniparoli’s “Tutto Ecetto Il Lavandino”, & Stephanie Martinez’s “Wandering On”. Cory danced the roles of Puck in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” & Nick Carraway in “The Great Gatsby” both choreographed by Toni Pimble. He retired from EBC in April 2020 to pursue work as a freelance performer/instructor.
