Melissa Jabaay Joins the ADT Team as a New Associate Director

Hello Dancers and Dance Families!

ADT is delighted to announce our own Miss Melissa Jabaay will be joining the administrative team in the role of Associate Director!

Miss Melissa has a wealth of experience as a teacher, choreographer, stage manager and lighting designer for the past 13 years. She is originally from Alabama and has worked and danced professionally for Busch Gardens Theme Park, Carnival Cruise Lines, Cirque Productions and Minnie Madden Productions. She competed on the University of Alaska Anchorage Gymnastics team and returned as their choreographer and assistant coach for 5 years. She teaches multiple genres of dance. Currently she teaches Acrobatics, Jazz, and Modern at ADT as well as Dance Appreciation, Musical Theatre and Contemporary Modern Dance at The University of Alaska, Anchorage. She holds a BA in Theatre with a Dance Emphasis from UAA and has studied to be a technical theatre technician as well.

Miss Melissa's dancing has carried her to Australia, New Zealand and Italy, but she feels most at home in the theatre. She believes that dance should be fun and strives to help her students enjoy every moment in her class.  She hopes to inspire them and motivate them to “never give up, never surrender.”

Miss Melissa has three children and a husband who helps make so much possible. Please help us in congratulating Miss Melissa in her new role, we are excited for her to take on this new position!
